Tadao Ando building at Vitra Complex

“You can’t really say what is beautiful about a place, but the image of the place will remain vividly with you.”
-Tadao Ando

Even the positioning of the plastic chairs seemed harmonious in the cement courtyard of the Tadao Ando building at the Vitra Complex. Ando started an architecture firm with no training and proceeded to make amazing buildings!

In 1995, Ando won the Pritzker Architecture Prize, considered the highest distinction in the field of architecture. He donated the $100,000 prize money to the orphans of the 1995 Kobe earthquake. (Wikipedia)
