The results of the Icebreaker t-shirt design contest came in today… and I’m not a winner. Hiss, boo! Oh well, while it would have been amazing to see my design on thousands of people worldwide… it’s, uh, honestly, I started out this sentence with a bright side in mind. Oh yes, the bright side is that I did come away with one design I like–this “Do More With Less” typography. It still needs a bit of tweaking, I think, but I do like the message–it can be about sustainability, about creativity in general, about design specifically… It is also anti-big government. What a hard-working message!
Uh-oh. In my mind Marian Bantjes just did a design that said “Do More with MORE” and it was way ornamental and cooler than this. Cool it, Jochim. No negative self-think.
