11: Brian Eno

11: Brian Eno

Brian Eno told me to emphasize repetition of elements. So I tried using the Zig Zag filter in Illustrator; always a fun tool. Also today: took my Derek Henderson print to the framers. Agreed to give them about as much money as I make in two weeks. Trying not to think about that right now. Also, I purchased a cheap thin table on TradeMe to run along the back of my tiny office-like space off my bedroom. I borrowed a hand truck from Icebreaker to pick it up and move it to my house. Everything moving-related is a giant pain when you don’t have a car. I picked up the table without a problem, and began the slow uphill climb to the top of Mt. Victoria. What should have been a 35 minute walk stretched out into infinity. But then, just as I was about to crunch down on the cyanide tablet under my molar, an elderly man with a trailer drove by, stopped, offered me and mine a lift, and drove me the rest of the way up the hill. God bless New Zealand.
